Vishal’s Salute movie already created immense welcome among the audience. The film is a splendid action subject and is good for production values than the story.It is a story of a sincere police officer who tries to curb corrupted politicians and makes and appeal the people to choose right candidates.


Satyam(Vishal) perfectly plays his role as an Assistant Commissioner of Police a tough guy takes charge in a police station and he also has a physically challenged mother taking care of him.

He is against the encounters, at one point he ignores the Police Department directions to encounter the criminals in city but Satyam saves them and gave explanations to the superior in striking style.

The story got evolved when the CM got unwell and there was some cold war inside the parties. Home minister Kondal Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) appoints Dilli (Ravi Kale) to eliminate the other possible Cabinet Ministers Mahadevayya (Santhanakrishnan), Chandramathi (Apoorva), and Punyakoti (Jeeva) for the post. But things went wrong for the politician. When Dilli went to kill the politicians Prathapa Rudra ( Upendra) already kills Mahadevayya and Chandramathi and went away from the place. Kondal Rao realizes that Punyakoti is behind these murders and he could be his next target. Kondal Rao and Dilli got panic after this incident and seek police protection and appoint Satyam (Vishal) for his protection and further investigation of murders. After digging all the evidence Vishal finds the killer face to face. Then comes the flashback and reveals the connection of the killer with Super Cop. The remaining is all about whether Satyam last as a principled cop?

Vishal made his body fit for a tough cop and is very impressive in role. He has taken much care in his looks and body language, and even went to the extent of shaving his head off when the story demanded. Vishal Physically changes his body and he has put all his effort to give 100 percent to the film.

Nayanatara with her glam and dazzling look as a smart video journalist role in Salute. But her role is restricted to hero's neighbor and love interest than a TV journalist.

Upendra character in the movie adds surprise to the story. He is superb in the negative shades role and scored more than any one else. Kota Srinivasa Rao natural as evil-minded politician and the character is not new to him. Tanikella Bharani and Hema has a limited role as the heroine's parents. Sudha Chandran, the dancer from Mayuri, appears as the hero's mother in an insignificant role. Ali, Brahmanandam failed to generate much needed comedy.

Salute is a fabulous production for GK Films Corporation. As Assistant commissioner Vishal strikes him as a Super hero as well as a Super Cop. Totally the film had worked as a team and the credit goes to them as well.

While the movie does give a message to the people in the society should be more proactive in constructing the society around you. But we have seen so many films on the same lines, nothing new.
